[RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY]

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. guarantees that its products, specifically designed for concrete surfaces, will remain resistant to yellowing from UV exposure for the life of the original buyer. Additionally, these products are assured not to chip, peel, separate, or delaminate from any properly prepared and installed vertical or horizontal, interior or exterior surface during the lifetime of the original purchaser.

Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. assures all products are defect-free under these conditions. Reimbursement is confined to the original material costs or product replacement, at the discretion of Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. (excluding shipping, taxes, and tariffs). The company’s sole responsibility under this warranty is limited to the cost of materials necessary for repairing the affected areas. Inspection by a company representative or a certified installer is required to assess and determine the cause of the issue before any repair work is undertaken. Installers will endeavor to resolve any issues swiftly.

WARRANTY TERMS

Warranty Terms This warranty is valid at the original installation site. It becomes null if the installation contradicts any local codes or ordinances, or if the product is used in a way not intended by its design.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty Exclusions This warranty does not cover damages from misuse, modifications, damage due to animal activity, accidents, fires, damage from corrosive substances, extreme heat (above 250 degrees F), smoke, iron oxide stains, or hydrostatic water pressure.

It also excludes failures due to improper surface preparation as per Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc.’s guidelines. Inappropriate preparation includes, but is not limited to, not removing pre-existing coatings, sealers, and other impurities that hinder adhesion. The surface should be properly ground to achieve a 50 to 100 grit profile, maintain a neutral pH of 7, and have a moisture vapor transmission rate not exceeding 3 pounds. Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. does not bear responsibility for identifying moisture issues within the concrete substrate. Liability under this warranty will not surpass the cost of replacement materials.

Making A Claim

To file a claim, promptly contact Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. at service@epoxyss.com. Include the material type, purchase date, and a description of the issue. Claimants must provide photographs of the alleged damage. Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. retains the right to inspect the material and verify warranty eligibility. This warranty is limited to material replacement costs for the original purchaser. The customer is responsible for any additional installation costs or price increases beyond the original purchase amount.

SAFETY NOTICE

All surfaces can become slippery, particularly when wet. Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. is not liable for injuries resulting from slips or falls. It’s the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure safety. While anti-slip additives can reduce the risk, there’s no guarantee against slipping. Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. disclaims any responsibility for slip-and-fall accidents.

PAID REPAIRS

Customers experiencing damage due to substrate issues like cracks or deterioration can have their coatings repaired, starting with a minimum service fee of $250. Damages caused by the customer can also be repaired.

MISCELLANEOUS

Miscellaneous No entity is authorized to extend warranties on behalf of Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc. beyond what is stated here. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Epoxy & Sealing Systems, Inc.’s LIABILITY IS STRICTLY BOUND TO THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY. Claims for incidental or consequential damages (including water damage) are not covered.

State laws may vary regarding warranty limitations or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. It’s advisable to retain a printed copy of this warranty. Proof of purchase or warranty effective date must be presented, otherwise, the batch manufacture date will be considered the start of the warranty period.
